For the first time in my working career I actually feel like I have a home.  I spent 10 years at Ford Motor Company and seven years in the mortgage business just trying to find the next deal.  I truly believe I am a part of something much bigger here at Gold Star and the only limits are self-imposed.  2008 could be the greatest opportunity for growing market share we could ever see.  With you approval, I plan on allocating my commission directly into my marketing account to grow new referral sources.  Too much of our competition is leaving the business leaving an abundance of orphaned referral sources (Realtors, CPA's, Builders, Financial Advisors, and Divorce Attorneys).  With your guidance, I would like to prepare a detailed business plan for gaining market share.  I have been successfully branding "15 Day Guaranteed Closing" with my agents and builders.  Retail can't even close purchases in 15 days.

I'm very positive about next year and I truly believe in whatever direction Gold Star takes.  You are a great CEO and it has been the best decision of my career to join GS.  I believe there are no limits to the success that can be achieved here.  Most people will never feel like this about the company they work for, and it's too bad.

I have been thinking a lot about what I am thankful for and one of the things is the job I have, and how much it has grown in the past year.  Which is a true blessing because there are loan officers far better than I am that are no longer in the business because they can't make a living.  In this market it is amazing to be employed at all muchess to be in a company that is thriving.  the programs and the knowledge of everyone, in addition to the camaraderie that is shown to all helps make work enjoyable.  I wanted to take this time to say how much I enjoy being part of the Gold Star family.  The opportunities you have afforded us, the knowledge that you are continually sharing with us is something I am definitely thankful for.  It is always nice to see you come into our office with a smile on your face and you know who each of us are, and what we are doing.
